Discounted booksellers offer great books in hardback and paperback at low prices. This is typically due to overstocking done by premium new book retailers, so there mistake is your gain. You may not save as much as you would at a used bookstore, but if you like new books, this is a good way to get discount books, cheap.

Public libraries are certainly a good way to get books at no cost. Most libraries have a wide selection of all genres of literature. Since you check them out, it’s a great way to read for free, but if you’re looking to boost your book collection, this may not be the way to go.

Craigslist has a ton of new & used books available for purchase though private resellers every day. It’s best to take a look at the site everyday and watch out for a book that peaks your interests. Typically sellers offer the books at a fraction of the price since they’re already done reading them.

Like Craigslist, EBay is another great site to find discount books, cheap. As with Craigslist, you’ll need to keep a close eye out for low cost books of interest.
